I'd
say this is one of the best games in the Mystery PI series. It's a
straightforward hidden object game, with some fun mini games too. The
objects are very clear, and there's unlimited hints. It's good on
challenge, and you can earn bonus points if you are an advanced player.
If you're a HOG fanatic, you'll like it.
I am so excited about the positive response I received about beta testing for Legacy Games on Facebook. It is always good to know that our members care
about Legacy Games and want to help improve and expand it. As the date
gets closer to a beta, I will be sending updated info to those who expressed
interest. If you are new to the tatter and Legacy Games, then click here to read last week's
newsletter and get the whole scoop.
On to this week's news! I am thrilled to announce that 911 Paramedic is now available for download on Legacy Games. We developed this game a few
years back when PC gaming
was all about selling boxes at retail. Based on the popularity of Emergency Room: Code Red (which is the #1
selling game on Legacy Games), we've decided to make 911 Paramedic available as a downloadable and let a whole new audience try it out. If you like
Emergency Room: Code Red or any of Legacy's other medical or vet sim games then you
will love 911 Paramedic, if you have never tried a medical sim game then right
now is the best time because we are releasing this classic title for only
$9.99, a great game for a great price!
You're a first year EMT in the Big City, and you've just landed a job on
the night shift. Your partner, bone weary, is a surviving 20-year veteran.
Together you save lives and deal with challenges at the scene of some desperate
medical cases.
Interact with critical patients and a skilled medical staff. Learn about
the triumphs and tragedies that impact your patient's lives. 911 Paramedic will
tug on your heart strings and keep you on the edge of your seat.
* 35 cases including gunshot and stab wounds, diabetes, impalement, and much
more.
* Start at EMS level 1, then work your way up the ranks to Paramedic.
*All medical cases are accurate and realistic - created by real EMTs and
Paramedics.
* Use more than 40 realistic exam and treatment tools including oxygen masks,
defibrillators, splints, bandages and ET tubes.
Lisa's List
HERE'S
WHAT'S WORKING FOR ME ... 1. Totem Tribe - This is better than reality television. It blends the best sim
aspects of Virtual Villagers with more strategy and lots of village building.
You basically help little people survive. GREAT stuff.
2. Cooking Academy 2: World Cuisine - Pass the samosas. If you like cooking,
this is one of those games that will give you lots of ideas. It's a lot like
Cooking Mama on the Wii, except you use your mouse to chop, slice, fry, grill,
bake, and peel all the ingredients to make a bunch of exotic dishes.
... AND
WHAT'S NOT 1. Weekend Party Fashion Show - It's a fashion flop, full of English errors, no
instructions, and lots of guessing tasks. The game play involves hidden object,
spot the difference, and style matching tasks. The idea is really good, but it
doesn't reach its potential.
2. Orchard - It's kind of like watching grass grow. This is a cute time
management farming game, but it moves sooooo sloooowly. Just getting your
character to walk across the field and till a patch of soil can take all day.
Until Next Time,
Have Fun!
