It's more of a hidden object game, which is slightly different than the usual point and click style of the other Nancy Drew games. You still gather inventory and solve puzzles, so it doesn't depart too much, but it adds new features, like better conversation interactivity. The puzzles are clever and most are a lot of fun, like decrypting hieroglyphics, a tetris-style mini-game, and fixing broken items with other items. As always, there are interesting characters, the the story is great.
