Aaaahhhh...When they say real time, it meant in real time. I had my people well into training and had to turn the game off so I can run errands. Much to my surprise, when i got back and restarted the game, they were all gone. R.I.P. I guess I need to be more careful.

While the game play is exactly like the first two, I found this one interesting because of the new technology and devices available. If you haven't played the others, this is a good real-time simulation game, where you help a group of islanders build up their civilization from practically nothing. It's all done in real time, so they keep working even when you've turned off the game. There are lots of surprises and challenges to overcome. It's very original.

Try to get your people trained right away, because then they work more effectively. And, don't neglect the scientists -- you need them to advance.
