What I like best about this program is that you can select from a wide variety of hint/tutorial features if you are a learner. These hints are generally done with highlighted squares, so you are guided but not forced into any move. I'm not an experienced enough chess player to determine if the strategies are good, but I have tested out their suggestions and they generally (but not always) get effective results.
