Macabre and creepy...in a good way! The hidden objects are perfectly integrated and clear. It has amazing graphics overall, good music, and an awesome ghost story. This is one of the best HOG's I've seen in a long time. I wouldn't call it terrifying or anything, but it's definitely dark..not one for the kids. You get plenty of hints, and the minigames are easy enough, so the difficulty level is about average. Kudos.

The game follows the real life story of Mary Rogers. She was a murder victim in 1838 who's murder was never solved, and Edgar Allan Poe wrote a fictional story about her called "The Mystery of Marie RogĂȘt", which was a sequel to his detective story "The Murders in the Rue Morgue."
