It's fun, but simple. You play a basic match 3 game, which is all “pirate” themed with skulls, crossbones, etc. The boards have some spots that can only be reached using cannons and power ups. There are a bunch of upgrades you can buy, and eventually you buy new maps. You also do a bit of treasure hunting, and if you don't keep your crew happy with stuff you earn, there will be a mutiny. It's got humorous undertones, so it's fun to play.

I purchased the Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes. It does not work. When I click on the first book I get a blank screen. Luckily I still have the receipt so back it goes. Very disappointing!

Mahjong: Mysteries of the Past

My complaint is mostly that it's buggy. I had several graphic distortions and a crash within a few minutes of playing. I like the time travel storyline, even though it's hokey, since it means there are lots of cool mah jong themes. You start off with the Egyptian theme, which is neat. The differences between tiles is very subtle. One squiggly line might differentiate them. This is kind of tough, but you can make it so that only matchable tiles are displayed.
